Putnam Farm at Danvers was inspired by the original dairy farms, barns and large shingle style homes that are common to this residential community. Clapboard exterior, gambrel roofline, neat white trim and double paned windows give it a familiar feeling. The landscaped grounds include gardens, turn-of-the century lampposts and a prominent central flagpole, all reflecting the old-world character of the property.
The facility consists of 60 assisted living units and 20 specialty care units dedicated to residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Located prominently on a hilltop, the building looks and feels like home for residents who have spent their lives in nearby coastal communities. It is on the campus of the Hunt Medical Center, giving convenient access to a vast array of outpatient services.
