CAB (Center for Addictive Behavior) Health and Recovery Services, Inc. is a leading non-profit addiction treatment agency serving 27-plus communities across northeastern Massachusetts and greater Boston. A subsidiary of Northeast Health Systems, programs are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
The Danvers facility is an 81-bed substance abuse and detoxification center in a 40,000 square foot building. It is the new home for critically needed programs that for the previous 28 years had been functioning in an old building on the campus of the abandoned Danvers State Hospital. The types of programs offered by CAB include inpatient detox, outpatient, methadone, court, teen drug court, teen diversion, women and children’s residential men and women’s residential (working half-way houses), transitional residential, HIV and street outreach.
